The BUENO Center is recognized nationally for its work with culturally and linguistically diverse students and their teachers, and we are searching for a highly skilled Executive Director.

Primary Purpose:
This position is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization and for generating ideas for securing federal, state, local or foundation funding to support the Center’s mission.  This is a key position that works with internal and community partners to uphold the established mission and vision of the BUENO Center, acts as a professional advisor to the Dean on all aspects of the organization’s activities, advocates for and represents the organization at community activities to improve the organization’s community and national profile. Candidates must have Master of Arts degree in Educational/Organizational Leadership with a related field of study such as Bilingual/Multicultural Education and/or Equity, Bilingualism & Biliteracy, in addition to K-12 teaching and leadership experience working with diverse and special populations including emerging bilingual students and students with disabilities, and a successful record of securing grants and/or foundation money.

Pay Range
