Now that the 2020 Colorado legislative session is underway, legislators on both sides of the aisle have begun their political maneuvering. Chalkbeat convened a legislative preview with 4 legislators at the University of Denver on January 3rd . CO-CABE was there advocating for the inclusion of emerging bilingual students in the discussion. It was clear from the discussion that we must increase our advocacy efforts to ensure equity and civil rights justice for all our students.
