Like many other industries, the heroes of education find themselves at risk for the spread of many common ailments. Working closely with children and in groups means that most educators are already well aware of the importance of hand washing and good hygiene when cold and flu season comes around.
With the current spread of COVID-19, we’d like to remind everyone of the importance of protecting yourself and others.
Check out these tips from the CDC on how to help prevent the spread of germs:
» Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
» Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
» Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
» Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
» Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.
» Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
